The Edible Oil Production Process: A Step-by-Step Overview

Step 1: Cleaning & Screening

  • Soybeans are transported from silos to the processing workshop via elevators and conveyors.
  • They undergo:Screening to remove foreign materials
  • Magnetic separation to eliminate metal impurities

Step2: Crushing

  • Soybeans are crushed into 4–6 pieces to increase surface area,The detached hulls are removed using an air separator.

 Step 3: Softening & Conditioning

 Step 4: Flake Pressing
