Cottonseed Protein Production Line Equipment

Uses: Protein Raw Material (crude protein greater than 50%, gossypol content less than 400 ppm)
Process Characteristics: Cottonseed protein is a high-protein product made from cottonseed through delinting, hulling, low-temperature pretreatment, one-time leaching for defatting, draining, and then removing the toxic substance gossypol. It is a newly launched protein raw material in China.
Soy protein concentrate (SPC)
SPC is a product made from low-temperature defatted soybean meal. Soluble sugars, ash, and off-flavors are removed through washing with an ethanol-water solution or dilute acid, retaining the protein content. The protein content is typically ≥ 65% (dry basis).
This process effectively improves the taste and functional properties of soy products. Common production processes include:
Alcohol Process (Most Common, Industrial Mainstream): This method uses ethanol to dissolve and remove oligosaccharides and some off-flavors from soybeans without denaturing the protein.
Raw Material Processing: Low-denaturation, low-temperature defatted soybean meal is selected.
Extraction and Washing: Soybean meal is mixed with a 60%-80% concentration edible ethanol solution in a certain proportion, stirred, and the temperature is controlled at 50℃-60℃, undergoing multiple countercurrent washings.
Desolventizing and Drying: The extract is separated, the wet protein residue is desolventized (ethanol recovery) and dried to obtain soy protein concentrate.
