Camellia oil production
Extracting camellia oil from tea seeds is a traditional extraction process. Pressing is also a basic way to extract tea oil.
After pressing the tea seeds to obtain "pressed raw tea oil", the oil in the tea cake is fully extracted by leaching to obtain "leached raw tea oil".

1 Drying: This process is to prepare for shelling. The moisture content of the dried tea seeds reaches 12%~14%.
2 Cleaning: Sieve and clean to remove sand, mud, stems, leaves, ironware and other debris in the tea seeds.
3 Shelling: The dried tea seeds are sent to the tea seed shelling machine for shelling. In addition, from the perspective of improving the quality of tea saponin, the shelling process of tea seeds plays a decisive role in improving the color of tea saponin.
4 Shell-kernel separation: After the shell is broken, the oil tea seeds are immediately sorted by wind to separate the kernel from the shell.
5 Flaking: Since the shelled tea kernels have a high oil content and cannot be crushed by a crusher, they must be pressed into sheets by a large gap, low-speed flaking machine.
6 Steaming and frying: The moisture and temperature of the tea kernels are adjusted in the steaming and frying pan to ensure that the moisture content before pressing is about 3% and the pressing temperature reaches 110~120℃.
7 Pressing: In addition to the traditional pressing method, there are two main types of oil extraction: hydraulic press oil pressing and screw press oil pressing.

Crude tea oil filtrationThe crude oil obtained after pressing contains many impurities, which affect the quality, stability and taste of the oil and need to be removed. The use of filtration equipment can remove insoluble mechanical impurities in the crude oil. Other impurities contained in the crude oil, such as colloid-soluble impurities, free fatty acids, pigments and odors, need to be removed through refining (degumming, deacidification, decolorization, deodorization).
