1. Comprehensive Cleaning and Classification
Cleaning: Peanuts often come with impurities such as mud, stems, and leaves. These impurities can affect the quality of the oil and oil cakes, and may absorb fat, reducing the oil yield. Classification: The sizing screen isolates immature granulocytes, moldy grains, broken grains, and other imperfections in the peanut raw materials.
2. Efficient Drying and Peeling
Drying: An air dryer controls the moisture content of peanut raw materials to between 5% - 6% after drying. It also reduces the temperature of the oil particles below 40℃ using cold air, ensuring optimal conditions for subsequent processing.
Peanut Crushing and Peeling: The roll crusher removes the red skin of peanuts, and a flat wind suction screen separates the red peanut mantle, which can be used as a raw material for pharmaceuticals and chemicals. Shelling reduces shell absorption of fat, improves oil yield, increases processing capacity, and lowers machine wear. It also ensures high-quality oil cakes that have a wide range of applications.
3.Hot Roasting and Cooling
Hot Roasting: Approximately 25% to 30% of peanut materials are sent to the hot air oven and heated to 180℃ - 200℃. Roasting temperature is crucial for producing fragrant peanut oil.
Cooling: Rapid cooling is essential after roasting to prevent oilseeds from sticking and spontaneous combustion. The crusher then breaks the peanuts into smaller granules.
4. Steaming and Roasting
The vertical steam boiler processes the material to a discharge temperature of 108 - 112℃ with 5% to 7% humidity, ensuring a rich peanut oil flavor. The indirect steam pressure of the steam boiler must be at least 0.6 mPa.
5.Peanut Kernels Cooking
Cooking is a vital step in peanut oil extraction. Adding 8-10% water before cooking helps in the process. The cooked peanuts, known as ripe billets, are then pressed using a hot press method. The cooking process directly affects the smoothness of pressing, oil yield, and oil cake quality. When the moisture content is close to 1-2% and the temperature reaches 120-130℃, the peanuts are ready for pressing.
6. Peanut Oil Press
Huatai's screw oil press is widely used in small-scale peanut oil plants. This machine maintains a pressing temperature of 135℃, with a humidity of 1.5% to 2%, and a residue of 9% to 10% in the peanut press cake. Its simple operation and high pressure ensure continuous processing. The crude peanut oil, after precipitation and filtration through a vertical leaf filter, is sent to the peanut oil refining plant. The peanut oil cake is sent to the peanut oil solvent extraction plant for secondary extraction. The refined crude oil is sold as ordinary oil.
