Corn, one of the world's three major staple crops, plays a vital role in China's agricultural economy. In China alone, approximately 300 million tons of corn are produced annually. Of this, 65% is used for feed and livestock, while 20% goes into deep processing. Among this 20%, more than 300,000 tons of corn flows annually to China's largest corn deep-processing flour milling facility, the Golden Valley High-End Corn Deep Processing Base—the facility featured in this report.
At this facility, an average of 1,000 tons of non-GMO corn is processed daily. Whole truckloads of corn enter the silos and are conveyed via auger systems to various production lines, beginning their transformation journey. The plant produces over ten different products, with corn dehulling, germ extraction, and flour milling as its core products. An intelligent platform ensures precise quality control across every production stage.
Complete Corn Germ Oil Processing Line
From corn flour and expanded corn flour to protein feed and corn germ oil, each product undergoes more than a dozen production steps. The 50 TPD corn germ oil production workshop, designed and built by Huatai Group, covers the entire process of corn germ pretreatment, oil pressing, and complete refining—with every step executed to Huatai's highest standards.

Pretreatment & Pressing Section:
After cleaning and drying, the corn germ enters a steaming wok where temperature and moisture are precisely regulated to enhance oil yield . The material is then pressed simultaneously by 10 synchronized screw oil presses. The resulting crude oil is preliminarily purified by a residue scraper and then filtered through a leaf filter before flowing into clear oil tanks .
Refining System:
The crude oil undergoes degumming, alkali refining, washing, drying, decolorization, and deodorization. Core equipment includes refining tanks, drying and decolorization tanks, vibrating filters, deodorizing tanks, and crystallization tanks . The entire system is powered by a natural gas thermal oil furnace, delivering both efficiency and environmental friendliness .
