Complete Set of Corn Deep Processing Solutions

Step 1: Selection

Choose full kernels, free of mold and insects as raw material. Yellow corn or white corn is acceptable.

Step 2: Cleaning

Remove stones, wires, straw sticks and other impurities from the corn and sieve it through a 6 mm diameter sieve to remove small grains and soil to obtain uniformly shaped corn.

It is best to use a cleaning machine for this process, as it not only saves labor but also results in high quality kernels.

Step 5: Molding

This is the key step of corn processing. Put the well-mixed cornstarch directly into the cornstarch molding machine, heating, extruding, puffing and molding.

At the outlet of the extruder, the rice-like granules are constantly cut by the cutter. The rotational speed of the cutter must be properly adjusted, otherwise the corn kernels will either be too long or too short. Try to make the shape of the corn kernels similar to that of rice grains.

Step 6: Drying

Corn rice coming out of the molding machine has a high moisture content and tends to stick. It must be cooled to loosen the sticky rice kernels and then sent to the dryer for drying.

The temperature in the dryer is controlled at about 200°C and the moisture content is below 5%.
