Soybean Extruding Process

The extruding process can destroy the tissue cells in the soybean oil, making it easier for the oil to be released from the cells, thereby improving the extraction efficiency and shortening the extraction time. Puffing extraction allows the oil in the soybean to be extracted more fully, so the oil yield is relatively high. The amount of oil after puffing increases, and the production capacity of the extraction equipment increases accordingly, thereby reducing the power consumption per unit output. After puffing, the protein in the soybean material denatures, the polarity of the surface decreases, and the ability to absorb liquid decreases, which increases the concentration difference of the mixed oil during the extraction process and improves the leaching effect. This helps to reduce the solvent content of the wet meal after extraction, thereby effectively controlling the amount of steam and achieving the purpose of desolventization.
